Social media is a great way to spread the word about your fundraising and reach people you don’t see on an every day basis. We would suggest the following options on how to help spread the word about the MK5K event. We have customized the social media plans by platform – check out the suggestions below for your favorite platforms.

Facebook
  • Set your fundraising goal and share it through your status updates.
  • Change your profile pic or cover photo to one of the images provided below in our asset library below.
  • Tell your friends why this event is important to you and ask for their support to help you reach your goal.
  • Share the link for your personal fundraising page in every post.
  • Talk about your progress.
  • Encourage your friends to join your team or make a donation.
  • Say thank you by tagging your supporters

If you need some ideas about how to post that we would suggest:

  • Post at least twice a week with status updates reminding people you are fundraising to help The Mary Kay Foundation end domestic violence and cancers affecting women. Include a link to your personal fundraising page.
